In the end the government won with the help of Starmer’s Labour Party, 126 MPs voted against, including 99 Conservative MPs and Jeremy Corbyn (who is now getting praise from unexpected quarters although obviously not from me).

Yes, good speech - couldn’t tell if the others were booing or cheering. I guess booing, since she was out-voted. It’s surprising to me how that goes on in your Parliament- we think of the British as being much more proper and “decorous” than Americans!
