What are we to make of a world that sides overwhelmingly with the savage Moslem thugs? What are we to make of a God that watches this and lifts not a finger?

I cry out with you.
All I can say is that we don’t know where the majority of people stand on this issue, or even if most people are aware of it.
And you and I know that there is no god.
But there’s no consolation in those statements for the suffering of the victim. Of any victim of deliberate human cruelty. None.

It’s unfathomable that any member of the civilized world would “side” with these monsters. The depth of such ignorance and gullibility is mind boggling, especially among conservatives.
Something I read recently by James Lindsay may shed light on why some on the right are more susceptible to antisemitic propaganda - it is likely linked to the resurgence of a retrograde religious movement in the West typified by influencers like Jack Posobiac who is a self- professed “Catholic Integralist Monarchist”, which basically posits the re-integration of (Catholic) Church and State, with a king. Exactly what the Founders rejected!
And apparently this includes a return to medieval antisemitism as part of ones “faith”.
So, though he and others like his buddies Bannon and Carlson pose as patriotic, they are not only antisemitic but anti-American.
And once again we are seeing the real harm that religion can do when Enlightenment values are discarded.

Interesting point. We all know the tyranny that arises when religions seize political power such as Medieval Christendom, The Enlightenment toppled these religious despots, but it seems the devils won’t give up.
