Can the American Republic be Saved?

Yes, they’ve weaponized everything, including elections. It swung back to Trump and would still be there if not for election fraud.

All too true, at least in the near term. Although I think that such a correction (to borrow a term from economics) is highly likely, there is no guarantee that it will happen in the near term, or even in the foreseeable long term. We may see it in a few months, in the November midterms. We may see it in November of 2024. Or we may not see it during our lifetimes.

What time in history gives us a glimpse of the future of the US and of the West? Or do you write in general of Empires that rise and fall?

Beck was talking with Salena Zito this morning, when she brought up the midterm election of 1894, which was a “realigning election” for the country. It can happen. She and others with their fingers on the pulse of America think it will happen on a massive scale with this November midterm election.

Expecting a repeat of that - hmmm. That’s optimism.

But - Oh dear! The following presidential election got another Democrat - William Jennings Bryan - into the White House.

I will consider a Red Wave this year a good start.

It may happen. The cheating Democrats in power may sit back and let a fair election take place. Amazing things have happened before and surely can happen again.

Just one way they cheat:

Well…you know, the Leftists haven’t a worry in the world, so why would they cheat (again).

The economy is great, 800 million jobs have been created, fuel and food are cheap as always and plentiful, the silos are full and awaiting a bumper crop this year, the sky is blue and there is peace in the world. All because of Joe Biden and his Agenda. That is what they keep telling us. Right?

Right. Unless they know they’re lying. Or if they suspect that the electorate suspects they’re lying.

There is an old joke in there somewhere…

Yes, “you can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you can’t fool all the people all the time!”
